Russian parliamentarians hurry the government to take measures for recovering the Kursk sub

The State Duma - the lower house of the Russian parliament - has sent Russia's Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov an inquiry about prompt financing of the operation to raise the nuclear submarine Kursk. The State Duma passed the appropriate resolution on Wednesday. Deputies ask the premier to speed up the solution of questions connected with financing the lifting of the Kursk. All technical and organisational matters relating to the lifting of the nuclear submarine Kursk have now been dealt with, RIA Novosti cites the document as saying. At the same time, parliamentarians believe that the government is inadmissibly slow in deciding organisational and financial and in fact political issues on the raising of the Kursk cruiser. The deputies therefore ask Kasyanov to inform the Duma of the measures taken to implement the plan for recovering the Kursk.
