Democratic elections – new way to raise money

A curious accident occurred in France. Local democratic elections took part in a small Corsica village Aron. 9 persons were elected for the municipal council. As a matter of fact, only three person live in the village. According to documents, the population of the village makes up 23 persons. But 20 inhabitants moved to other French towns and settlements in the early 60s. Three other persons are not going to leave yet. The elections, which took part in Aron were declared invalid by the prefecture of Corsica. New deputies will fail to use the municipal budget, $ 30 thousand a year.
