USA: ANOTHER HORRIFIC MASSACRE IN A SCHOOL

Reports are just in of yet another terrible massacre in a school in the USA. This time it was in San Diego, California. It is reported that a student opened fire in a school bathroom, before running around the school shooting indiscriminately. Two deaths and 13 injuries seem to make up the initial list of victims. It is said that the student who perpetrated this horrific act of violence was smiling as he shot his schoolmates. He is said to have been boasting in recent weeks that he would perform such an act by his associates, none of whom took him seriously. Probably this was the determining factor: a failure in social relationships with access to weapons of murder, like so many others in the USA, is a potential psychopath with the means to kill. Unfortunately, all too often, one turns on one’s t.v. set and sees scores of American children running screaming from a school, where some lunatic has run amok. One laments the deaths most profoundly. In European countries, apart from the police, only criminals carry guns.
