Russian expert does not advise tourists to go to the place of Mir station falling by plane

The head of the Russian Space agency Rosaviacosmos Yury Koptev did not approve the idea of US businessmen to turn the distraction of Mir space station into a show. It will be recalled that Bob Citron, the head of space tourism company Space Hab is planning to organise a charter fright to the area where the carcass of Mir station will fall. News agencies report that representatives of NACA with cameras and a few Russian former cosmonauts were invited as well. For ordinary passengers each ticket will cost $ 6,500. “Unfortunately, for the time being there aren’t any documents, forbidding such running about this complicated procedure”, said Koptev. “But I’d like to warn the future passengers of this flight: they will expose themselves to danger, because thousands of small fragments of the station will fall down.” Koptev would not recommend to the plane to show up in this area.
