An attempt to blow up the leader of the large Metallurgical complex

A strong explosion sounded last night at a block of flats the Russian town of Novokuznetsk (Kemerovo region). The experts estimated the power of the blasting device as 200-250 grams of TNT. According to the preliminary information, the explosion was aimed to scare one of the leaders of Novokuznetsk Metallurgical Industrial Complex.

Our reference: Novokuznetsk Metallurgical Industrial Complex is one of the biggest Metallurgical plans in Russia. Its main field is production of cast iron and steel. About 32,000 persons work at the plant. In 1998 the control stock of the Novokuznetsk Metallurgical Industrial Complex was seized by Moscow firm MIKOM, being led by Mikhail Zhivilo. He is wanted by INTERPOL now on suspect of the arrangement of the attempt at Kemerovo governor Aman Tuleyev. For the time being Mikhail Zhivilo is removed from the chairmanship of the plant.
