State Duma deputes ask to leave Mir in orbit
The Russian Duma has urged to President Vladimir Putin to suspend the fulfilment of a government resolution on bringing down the Mir space station in a Wednesday resolution initiated by the Communists, Interfax reports. The resolution binds Duma speaker Gennady Seleznyov to inform Putin about the attitude of the lower house of the Russian parliament towards the issue.
