An investigation is going on into the murder in 1994 of journalist Dmitri Kholodov, who worked for the Moskovski Komsomolets newspaper. Russia’s former defence ministry officials who occupied highest positions at the time when the crime was committed are expected to give their testimonial evidence. Among those summoned to court are former deputy minister Konstantin Kobets and former press secretary Yelena Agapova. Within a few days, the judges will be interrogating Pavel Grachev dubbed the “best defence minister”.
