The “tree” has really collapsed, but Moscow Mayor has not suffered from it. Primorye Governor did

Moscow city administration disproved the report that Moscow Mayor’s Yury Luzhkov’s cortege had got into the traffic jam in Tverskoy Boulevard in Moscow, which arose because of a tree collapsing on the road. Luzhkov has been in the Belorus capital, Minsk since morning. He is taking part in the Parliamentary Session of the Union of Russia and Belorus. The Mayor will return to Moscow only in the evening. Talking to his Minsk counterpart Mikhail Pavlov, he said: The authorities in Russia's Far Eastern territory of Primorye have "discredited themselves," and former Governor Yevgeny Nazdratenko has fled Vladivosotok and could face trial, Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov has said. Nazdratenko "will face trial pretty soon," Luzhkov said. "This will happen, even though I used to support him." Nazdratenko should answer for his actions or lack thereof, Luzhkov opined. "Ambition and squabbling with the European Union is all well and good, but the governor must first keep his people fed and warm," the mayor said.
