Towards the union of Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus

Ukrainian MPs propose to set up an international association “For the union of Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus,” Sergei Apatenko, Russian State Duma deputy said today. According to him, the proposal comes from the Ukrainian Supreme Rada’s Zubr (the bison) interfaction group. Mr. Apatenko called on the deputies to back the efforts of Ukrainian colleagues directed at the unification of Slavic states, RIA Novosti reports.
