Gusinsky doesn’t feel like returning

Russian businessman Vladimir Gusinsky, currently under house arrest in Spain, has formally declined to be extradited to Russia – the respective statement has been served to Investigator Baltazar Garson who runs the case. Mr. Gusinsky keeps on insisting that his case is more politically than economically motivated and Russian justice “cannot be considered independent.” Now, the case is to be presented to court. The proceedings may last for several months.
