Costunica charges Milosevic and NATO

Today new president of Yugoslavia Voislav Costunica said in Davos to the international audience that he knew who was responsible for the death of inhabitants and for the damage caused to Yugoslavia. According to Costunica, both Yugoslavia authorities and NATO are guilty. Milosevic was able to prevent the bombardment by NATO in the course of negotiations in Rumbuie. Those, who ordered to bomb Yugoslavia, had a choice, too. At the same time Kostinica said that he is not satisfied with the current activity of the tribunal, therefore the question of Slobodan Milosevic’s extradition is not raised yet. It is important to note that that in spite of the numerous talks that Kostunica was almost an “agent of the West”, his attitude towards his predecessor is more reserved than even western leaders could expect…
