Emergency situations minister to warm up Russia’s Far East

Russia’s Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov has ordered Sergei Shoigu, the emergency situations minister to fly to Russia’s far-eastern Primorski Territory to help follow up governmental resolutions on heat and power supply to the territory’s population. Opening today’s cabinet meeting, Mr. Kasyanov is reported by RIA Novosti to have reminded that energy supply in the region should be resumed in full by February 1st.
