Suspected killer of Belozir detained

A 29-yearold man has been detained in Simferopol, the capital of the Crimea. He is suspected of murdering in Lviv of Igor Belozir, a renowned Ukrainian singer and composer, the press service of Ukraine’s interior ministry said yesterday. According to the version presented by the press service, the murder had been committed in one of Lviv bars due to Russian-Ukrainian differences on May 28th, 2000. There had been a fight in the bar after which Mr. Belozir died in hospital while his murderers escaped, RIA Novosti reports.
