attempt at Kadyrov’s life denied

Shamil Bino, Chechnya’s envoy to Russia’s president, has categorically refuted news reports of an alleged attempt at the life of Akhmad Kadyrov, a pro-Kremlin Chechen administration head. According to RIA Novosti, Mr. Bino says he talked today at 10:15 Moscow time to Mr. Kadyrov by phone, and the latter denied any attempt at his life taking place. Earlier reports say, citing the Federal Security Service, that a bomb exploded 20 of a head car of Mr. Kadyrov’s motorcade yesterday when he was heading for his native Tsentoroi village.
