Yaroslavl region governor attacked in Chechnya and amazed by Russian servicemen courage

Yaroslavl region governor Anatoly Lisitsin and persons, accompanied him, were attacked during their recent trip to Chechnya. According to the governor, as soon as the helicopter, arrived from Khankala, landed, a strong explosion resounded, and firing began after it. The battle lasted an hour and a half. 19 OMON special militia employees were wounded, 9 of them were seriously injured. One of service-man died in Yaroslavl governor sight. Lisitsin stressed that he had been amazed by the courage of Russian service-men. He also said that he would insist on allocation of 4,5 million rubles for the development of the office of the District Department of Internal Affairs in “Minutka” square in Grozny, “Interfax” reports.
