RF President Vladimir Putin confirmed the resolve of Russian authorities to carry the anti-terrorist operation in Chechnya through and to restore the legality and order in the territory of the republic. “We made progress this year. The principal forces of militants are smashed”, remarked the president in Kremlin during the ceremony of rewarding servicemen for courage and heroism they manifested at the Northern Caucasus, “Interfax” reports. At the same time, Putin admitted that “we have not done the main thing yet”. “But we will restore order and legality, and make people believe in triumph of justice, law and state. We will carry it through”, - stressed the President.
Western countries actively support Ukraine in words, but they are able to provide less and less real help. This opinion was expressed by the former head of the military intelligence of the Czech Republic, Major General Andor Sandor, in an interview with the Parliamentní listy.
