The federal forces managed yesterday to prevent what would have been a huge terrorist act in the capital city of Chechnya. Two men and one woman driving the Ural automobile tried to break through to the building housing the interim internal affairs administration in the Leninski District of Grozny, officials at the Internal Affairs Ministry’s Chechnya unit say. The automobile was stopped using gunfire and bombardment. The woman, resident of the village Grebenskaya, Shali District, was wounded and detained. Her accomplices managed to flee, Interfax reports.
