US downright annoyed by snowstorms

Snowstorms have become a real scourge for the Midwest of the USA. Icing and snowdrifts have resulted in many-hours traffic jams on the roads. At least, 8 people have died in road accidents in the states of Indiana, Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas. Snowstorms have also caused power disruptions. 300,000 households are being left without light and heat in Texas, 215,000, in Arkansas, and 105,000 in Louisiana, RIA Novosti reports. It is already for several days that air communication have been seriously affected in O’Hara airport in Chicago. Hundreds of flights have been cancelled in Sent-Louis (Missouri), Dallas and Fort-Worth (Texas), Memphis (Tennessee), Little-Rock (Arkansas), Talsa and Oklahoma City (Oklahoma). Hundreds of schools have been closed in Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Louisiana, and Illinois. Currently, a snow hurricane is moving south-eastwards, approaching the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.
