Pravda.ru summed up the results of readers' poll "Whether Kosovo will secede from Yugoslavia?". 1574 respondents took part in the Russian version and 658 in the English one. It is evidence of the fact that Russian speakers are much more interested in the fate of their Slavic brothers, than English speakers are. 909 Russian speaking readers consider that the Serbian territory of Kosovo will secede at last. 198 foreign readers share their opinion. 579 Russian readers hold the opinion that Kosovo won't secede, 297 English speaking readers think so, too. These results reveal unbelief of Russia citizens in the power of UN resolutions and peacemaking statements of NATO countries. Especially when global aspirations of USA are concerned.
The United States has been opposing Russia for decades now. Yet, Washington is still afraid to go into direct confrontation with Moscow
