Vladimir Putin calls at Mongolia to restore friendship

Russian President Vladimir Putin left for Mongolia at 10 a.m. today. It will be recalled, that in early 90s Yeltsin started to reduce political and business contacts with socialist Mongolia. The share of Russia in the foreign trade of this state greatly decreased. It is supposed that the relationship of two countries will improve after Putin’s visit. Besides, Mongolia owed USSR 11 milliard rubles. The suggestion to repay this debt or at least a part of it is being worked over at the moment. The debt will probably be repaid by means of shares of leading companies. As a result of Putin’s visit a bilateral declaration and a few agreements will be signed.
