The situation with human rights Chechnya is discussed

The Commission on Chechnya of the State Duma of Russia discussed problems of winter preparations and the situation with human rights in the republic at today's meeting. Furthermore, the Commission also considered recommendations of the parliamentary hearings which took place on September 21, 2000, on the normalization of the situation in Chechnya, as Speaker of the State Duma Gennadiy Seleznyov reported, cited by RBC news agency. According to his words, text of the recommendations was the most disputed question. Issues regarding the allocation of the budget funds for the restoration of the Chechen economy were also at the focus of the discussion.
