Presidential elections in Udmurtia

According to preliminary presidential elections results, head of the republican state council of Udmurtia Alexander Volkov leads the race, the republican election committee reported Monday morning. On Sunday, October 15, elections were held in Udmurtia. As per preliminary reports, provided by republican election officials, Alexander Volkov gathered 36.9% of votes, Pavel Vershinin, deputy to Volkov in the republican state council, was backed by 24.4% voters, 12.4% voters supported the head of Udmurtia’s government Nikolai Ganza, RBC reports.
