General Lev Rokhlin’s widow Tamara Rokhlina is charged with her husband’s murder.

Hearing on the case of General Lev Rokhlin’s widow Tamara Rokhlina is to start Monday, October 16, in Naro-Fominsk city court. Tamara Rokhlina is charged with her husband’s murder. Soon after the murder Tamara Rokhlina confessed to the crime, however she later disavowed her confession, explaining that she had been in a state of shock. Her defense attorneys insist she is not guilty, RBC reports. The criminal nvestigation lasted until March 1999. In December last year Tamara Rokhlina was released from pre-trial detention, where she had been held for 18 month. Moscow City Court ruled on her release in exchange for a travel ban. Court hearings on Rokhlina’s case were postponed twice, in July and in September this year.
