Great-Britain is Third Largest Foreign Investor in Russia

As goes the summary for 2001, Great Britain is the third largest foreign investor in Russia. This is according to the statement made at the 5th Russian Economic Forum in London by Alexei Kudrin, Russia's Minister of Finance. According to the governmental Department of Information, the minister noted the successful development of Russian-British business cooperation. During his meeting with Patricia Hewitt, the British Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Kudrin agreed on holding in London, in October this year, a meeting of the Russian-British Committee on trade and Investments to discuss the program for the optimisation of trade relations between the two countries. Mr. Kudrin concluded by saying that Russia expects to fully pay what she owes for the year 2003, totalling $ 16.2 milliard.
