Police Reservist Severely Injured, Detonation In Tetovo

A police reservist had been reportedly injured late on wednesday at the shopping center Skopje-sever. An unknown assailant, dressed in black clothes, had fired several bullets from pistol. The attack left the police reservist severely injured, Police sources told Makfax news agency.

The police reservist, Petre Kadrievski (age 27), born in the village of Mirkovci, had been reportedly gunned down shortly before 20:00 hours at Skopje’s municipality of Skopje-sever. The police reservist suffered severe injuries in the chest, stomach and neck. he was transferred to a hospital downtown Skopje.

A detonation was reported shortly after midnight in Tetovo, some 50 meters from the security police checkpoint on ‘d’ga kara’ street, crisis management center said. the explosion left no casualties or injuries among the security forces.

Another incident took place at gas station alfa-oil in Tetovo’s nearby village of brvenica. The windows of the gas station had been reportedly broken and gas automate had been damaged.

Volleys of automatic weapons fire had been reported last night in areas affected by the crisis, in particular Tetovo and Kumanovo region.
