The United Nations Secretary-General is to receive a senior delegation from Iraq.
The Iraqi delegation will be headed by the Foreign Minister of Iraq, Naji Sabri, and will meet the Secretary-General at the UN Head Office in New York, on 7th March.
Kofi Annan declared that he hopes “this meeting is focussed on the Resolutions of the Security Council, namely those which refer to the return to Iraq of the inspectors who are responsible for the process of disarmament of this country”, according to UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric.
The meeting is expected to last a day, before Sabri returns to prepare the summit of the Arab League.
