In Pskov region, search operation of SU-24 bomber is underway

Three military choppers joined the search operation together with six resque teams of Russian Defense and Emergency ministries. Officials reported that they managed to find the eyewitness of the crash, who will attend them to the supposed crash site.

The plane vanished from the radar screen on Tuesday during a regular training flight 15 kms to the North of Pskov. The bomber was piloted by Major Vladimir Shostenko and Lieutenant Colonel Aleksander Drozdetskiy. Their fate stays unknown.
