YUKOS Board Of Directors To Consider Payment Of Interim Dividends

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the YUKOS Oil Company will be held today. The Board of Directors will consider the question of paying interim dividends for 2001. If the Board of Directors decides in favor of payment of interim dividends, shareholders in YUKOS listed on the register of shareholders as of October 8, 2001 will be eligible for receiving these dividends.
