Ce Holds Press Conference In Russia On Power Division Between Federation Constituent Members And Local Self-government Bodies

A conference called Power Division Between Federation Subjects and Local Self-Government Bodies opened Tuesday in Nizhny Novgorod. The two-day conference is being held within the Russia-CE cooperation program. Participating in the conference are foreign experts and representatives of the local self-government bodies of Russia's Volga federal district. Wrapping up the conference will be a report to be delivered to President Vladimir Putin. According to presidential envoy Sergei Kiriyenko to the Volga federal district, the conclusions of the forum participants are to be used in the budget drafting.
