Drama with US medical device in Croatia: 23 patients died

Over the weekend in Croatia, 23 kidney patients died during or after the procedure carried out with a US dialysis device. Last summer, in Spain, 10 people died “with the help” of the same device. According to the decision of the Croatian authorities, medical treatment with the device produced by Buckster has been stopped in Croatia. Croatian health minister Ana Stavlenic-Rukavina refered to the “shocking number of victims." The police started an investigation of the case. The Croats know about troubles with the device in Spain, though the US Buckster firm made a written assurance that the device functions normally.
