Polish President Does Not Rule Out Russia's Nato Membership

President Aleksander Kwasniewski of Poland believes that the global community must come up as a united anti-terrorist coalition following the September 11 attacks on the USA. The Polish leader said that at a news conference in Moscow. Relations between Russia and the USA are acquiring an increasingly greater significance in the wake of the terror attacks, he said. The president described the fact that NATO-Russia relations have improved as a very positive change. He even prophesied that Russia may join the Alliance in the near future, something he will not be surprised at.
