Nakhodka Court To Consider Case Of South Korean Poaching Vessel

The court of Nakhodka, a Russian port on the Primorye coast of the Sea of Japan, has received for consideration a case of the South Korean schooner Kawa Dut-ho poaching on Russia's marine economic zone. According to the press center of the Pacific Regional Department of the Russian Federal Border Service, the schooner was arrested on October 7 with 1,137 crabs and 100 crab snares in its hold. The captain, who also owns the vessel, had no fishing license and no permit to enter Russian economic waters. The court will announce the date of public proceedings after is has gone through the case-related documents furnished by the border prosecutor's office, said the press center.
