Premier Kasyanov Confirms That Russia Will Not Take Part In Military Actions In Afghanistan

Russian head of government Mikhail Kasyanov confirms that Russia will not take direct part in military operations against the terrorists on Afghanistan's territory. He said this on Friday at a meeting with staffers of the Yaroslavl Nefteorgsintez plant. Kasyanov said that Russia intended to render only humanitarian aid to refugees and help the Northern Alliance oppose the Taliban movement.
