Russian Emergencies Ministry Discusses Prospects For Restoring Normal Life In Afghanistan

The Russian Emergencies Ministry is already discussing with the UN counterparts the prospects for restoring "a normal life" in the Afghan territories under the Northern Alliance control or which will be liberated from the Taliban, Russian Emergencies Minister Sergei Shoigu told journalists Thursday. According to him, the EU and US experts will be proposed to participate in this work. The Russian Emergencies Ministry experts are keeping permanent contacts with their UN, EU and US counterparts, Shoigu noted. The representatives of these organizations and countries will arrive in Moscow to continue consultations next week.
