Vladimir Putin: Problems Of Agroindustrial Complex Are Solvable

Russian President Vladimir Putin has no doubt that problems of the Russian agroindustrial complex "can be solved", more so that "today's rise of the Russian economy provides such an opportunity". He said this on Tuesday, opening up in Orenburg a session of the presidium of the State Council on farming. The head of state said that positive changes are observed on many indicators. Thus, Russian farming has become multistructural and "is ceasing to be a zone of persistent inefficiency. In profitability and certain directions of agriculture it is exceeding the profitability of the oil sector", said Vladimir Putin. He noted that "conditions have to be created now for man who works on land to feel this". To Putin, new people thinking in terms of today are coming to the farming sector, "capital has also begun to come and investments to increase". In the opinion of Vladimir Putin, it is "logical because this sector can certainly be very efficient and profitable".
