Reports about discovering bullet inlets on a fragment of Tu-154 fuselage not confirmed yet

Sources of the state commission investigating reasons of Tu-154 crash do not confirm reports that bullet inlets had been discovered on a fragment of the airliner’s fuselage. According to the sources, the character of the holes could be defined only after carrying out an official expert examination. For the time being, all versions sound like conjectures. Today, the cargo ship ‘Kapitan Vakula’ delivered some fragments of the crashed Tu-154, as well as several bodies of the crash’s victims, which are placed at the disposal of the state commission, a source in the State Service of Civil Aviation reports. Today at the crash site, ten ships are involved in the search operation: five ships belonging to Sochi harbour, two high-speed cutters, two Emergency Ministry’s ships, and one military vessel. At 9.45 a.m. (Moscow time), the fourteenth body was found ,which was later delivered to Sochi together with other bodies and afterwards to a local morgue where they will be investigated, RIA ‘Novosti’ reports. At 11.00 a.m., the state commission’s members flew by Mi-8 helicopters to the catastrophe area. According to the same source, the commission possesses already a fragment of the boarding, documents and letters of the second pilot, and some fragments of cabin interior. The black boxes of the airliner that were fastened to the board hardly can be discovered at a depth of 1-2 kilometres. Today, at 13.35, relatives of the dead passengers will arrive in Sochi. They will be provided with hotel numbers and food. All expenses will be covered by the ‘Sibir’ air company. At the same time, a case was opened by Rostov Office of Civil Flights Control in connexion with airliner’s crash. That was why the office seized all the materials of talks between the pilots and flying control officers. In regards to the different versions of the airliner’s crash, officials refuse to comment on them. The main versions are terrorism, an accident oboard the airliner, and the deviation of Ukrainian missile during the manoeuvres carried out yesterday in Crimea area.
