Central Bank Introduces Draft On Monetary Policy To Duma

The Russian Central Bank has introduce a draft with the main direction of the unified state monetary policy for 2002 to the State Duma, the Lower House of parliament, the Duma committee for budget and taxes informed RBC. Responsible committees are considering this draft now. According to the law on the Central Bank, the final variant of draft should be introduced to the Duma for consideration before December 1, 2001.
