Alfa Bank Reports Its Credit Portfolio

The volume of Alfa Bank's credit portfolio makes up $1.3 billion as of now. The volume of assets deposited with the bank reached $2 billion, deputy CEO Yevgeny Bernshtam reported. He noted they completed working out the bank's region policy. The bank's official noted that the volume of assets they invest in Russian regions and republics is more than the volume of deposits with the bank there. He stressed that the main volume of assets is deposited by Moscow residents and companies and assets deposited with the bank in Moscow exceed the volume of the bank's credits there. According to data presented by Bernshtam, Alfa Bank occupies 6.6 per cent of the Moscow market of banking services and from 4 to 12 per cent of this market in Russian regions. The average share of Alfa Bank's services in Russia makes up 7.6 per cent.
