Siberia Airlines Reports Rise In Passenger And Cargo Traffic In 2001

The volume of passenger traffic of the Russian Siberia airlines, including flights of the Vnukovo Airlines, increased more than twice in the first nine months of this year as compared to the corresponding period last year, the company's press service reported. The cargo traffic rose more than two times as well. The airline company made 11,856 flights, which is 91 per cent more than in the first nine months of 2000. As of October 2001, Siberia Airlines owned 36 planes.
