Robertson Highly Appraises Joint Efforts To Combat Terrorism

When appearing at the international seminar, The Future of Trans-Atlantic Relations, which concluded in Lisbon on Thursday, Nato Secretary-General Lord George Robertson said that he highly appraised the joint efforts being made by the North Atlantic alliance and Russia to combat terrorism. Robertson also said that the September 11th events had brought America and Europe closer together with the two sides entering a new stage of wide-scale co-operation. While commenting on the military operation in Afghanistan, Robertson said that the international network of terrorism there had to be brought down.
