Third Congress Of Yedinstvo Party Commenced In Moscow

The 3rd congress of the Yedinstvo (Unity) party has been launched in Moscow. Approximately a thousand delegates of the party forum will be deciding on the participation of the Unity Party in establishing a united centrist party based on the Yedinstvo (Unity) party, the Otechestvo (Fatherland) and the Vsya Rossiya (All Russia) movements. The party is expected to be founded this December in the course of a constituent congress. Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent his greetings to the delegates of the Yedinstvo congress. "The party has recently become one of the leading political forces of Russia," the address reads. According to the Russian President, "the party is energetically participating in developing and adopting the most important state decisions, its activities prove its adherence to democracy." Vladimir Putin stated that "the Yedinstvo is co-operating with Russian authorities on all levels in order to ensure rapid development of the country and to achieve social stability and prosperity of Russian citizens." He also stressed that "the party's authority had increased, while its positions in the regions had been enforced." The Russian leader expressed his confidence that the congress "would support the efforts targeted at the unification of all constructive political forces for the sake of Russia."
