Vladimir Putin has demanded from the government and the presidential administration to complete elaboration of the court reform soon. Opening a traditional Cabinet meeting in the Kremlin on Monday the president said the court reform "is of interest for millions of Russian people." The head of state explained that millions of people have to go through justice and law enforcement bodies, are faced with the activity of corresponding services, departments and ministries. "It is high time the decision was taken," said the president. He assumed some details might be elaborated only partially and addressed the government telling it to accomplish these issues together with Duma deputies. The president reported he had already discussed the aforementioned problem with prime minister Mikhail Kasyanov. "Our common opinion is that the work must be completed in the near future."
