British Government Boosts Guarantees For Exporters To Russia

The British government has increased the volume of guarantees for exporters to Russia, due to a marked improvement of the situation in the Russian economy, British secretary of commerce and investment Baroness Simons said on Wednesday. In her words, the British government will now provide mid- and long-term guarantees under export transactions which British businessmen will conduct with Russia. This measure is aimed at stepping up British exports to Russia, she noted.
