Russia's Army Commanders Gather In Moscow

On November 8-13, a meeting of commanders of the Russian armed forces is taking place in Moscow. The Defense Ministry reports that within this gathering a military-scientific conference and practical exercises will be held, aimed at upgrading the skills of army and navy commanders. On November 12, a conference will be held to sum up results of army and navy training in 2001. The conference will also work out unified approaches to solution of key goals facing the armed forces in 2001 and in the near future.
