Russian Defence Minister Rules Out Russian Troops' Deployment In Afghanistan

On Monday, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov refuted the information carried by some media outlets that Russia and the United States have signed a secret agreement under which Russian troops might be deployed in Afghanistan. "No secret agreement between Russia and the U.S. exists," said the defence minister during his speech at the annual gathering of the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces.
