Moscow Hosts Conference Of Russian Federation Of Jewish Communities

The second conference of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Russia will be held in Moscow on November 19-20. More than 400 participants from 145 Jewish communities in the Federation are to take part in the conference. They are to discuss, in particular, the work of the Federation for 1999-2001. The Chief Rabbi of Russia, Berl Lazar, representatives of the presidential administration, the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Muslim clergy together with the Israeli and US Ambassadors to Russia are expected to participate in the conference.
