Precision bombs fall on Pakistan
US bombers not only missed their target, but also their country, as four bombs fell inside Pakistan yesterday.
The Pakistani authorities have confirmed that a US military aircraft dropped four bombs in tribal territory inside Pakistan, but that there were no casualties or damage. The bombs fell in the semi-autonomous region of Jurram, in the North-West Frontier province.
A spokesperson for the Pakistani Interior Ministry declared that “We have not recorded damage or loss of human life”. He confirmed that two of the bombs had fallen near a frontier control post.
