Russia Ready To Start Several High-tech Research Projects

In the nearest future Russia will give start to seven or eight new scientific projects in highly technological spheres, Minister of Industry, Science and Technologies Ilya Klebanov said during a press conference Saturday. Klebanov highlighted that, presently, about fifty technologies existed, able to "continue shaping the world for at least a century." The Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies, jointly with Russian Academy of Sciences, is now researching the projects Russia can commence. Klebanov remarked that Russian President Vladimir Putin would elaborate the exact projects during his next meeting with scientists. The nature of the projects will not be revealed before that meeting, Klebanov stressed.
