Government Does Not Consider Possibility Of Budget Sequestration

The Russian government is not considering the possibility of the budget sequestration, the department of government information reported, commenting on statements published by some mass media sources referring to deputy PM Ilya Klebanov. The department explained that Klebanov's statements were most likely misunderstood by journalists. It stressed that the federal budget was worked out on realistic data and its sequestration is unacceptable.
