Bush: worse to come

“Afghanistan is just the beginning of the war against terrorism”, declared George Bush on a thanksgiving visit to the US Special Forces at fort Campbell. With these words, the President of the United States makes it clear that other countries may be attacked under the campaign against international terrorism after Afghanistan.

US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, speaking to troops at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, declared that he was certain of victory. Regarding Osama Bin Laden, Mr. Rumsfeld admitted to being obsessed with finding him, although he also declared that it would be less complicated if he was taken dead than alive.

“In the morning when I wake up I imagine him in a cave, but I don’t know if he is in a cave”, he declared.

The Defence Secretary told reporters that millions of pamphlets were scattered across Afghanistan offering a 25 million USD reward for Osama Bin Laden.

He did not refer to the 50 million USD reward offered by the Taleban for the delivery of George Bush.
